I really tried to let this song speak for itself. I used sound bits from pastors who are part of the problem I am targeting in this song.

the title is taken from a documentary of the same name (and obviously inspired by Jesus's final words on the cross). I highly recommend watching this documentary for a sense of what inspired this song.

We are a factory
That produces fear.
A fear that infects
Grown throughout the years.
You decide the sin
And then point your fingers.
You gnash your teeth
You speak out in anger.

And people die

We are a power house
And our disdain
Works it's way into the fabrics
Of culture.
Ends up in the minds of religious zealots.
Who take their guns and perform God's mission.

Violence becomes acceptable.
When the victims an abomination.
We paint the target, we aim the gun.
Then people die from our own infection.

It is clear that we have a problem.
A cancer growing now for far too long
