In this country some matter more than others.
Say you're for life, you're a beacon of hate to others.
This great nation where if your poor you just die.
You won't defend them like you will an unborn child.
Queer and trans teens, are dying in the streets.
Kicked out of homes, rejected by family.
Ending their own lives, torn apart and conflicted.
You don't see them as people, but that's what God sees.
You are not Pro life,
You are just Pro healthy, straight, white.
If you discriminate, you cannot make the claim.
That all lives matter, actions speak louder.
Refusing to acknowledge, choosing to stay silent,
You're being compliant and people are dying.
You might not feel their blood on your hands.
And the thoughts allude what ever conscience you might have.
But Jesus is weeping for those pushed away,
Murdered unjustly while you do nothing but pray.
You won't stand for gun control,
Healthcare for all.
Live in a police state, murder for all.
You won't see people as God's creation,
You don't value life, you value yourself
You pick and choose whose lives matter more,
You do not value life, you value your own kind.

Where I am free,
To use my vote to impose my beliefs.
To oppose those who are different from me.
Put them lower in society.
I'm free to stay silent facing atrocities.
To only care if they affect me.
I'm free to be entirely apathetic.
I'm free to preach love,
But I'm free to hate.
America
Where I am free
To hide behind curtains
And call the police.
Call the police on suspect teens,
They look different than me, they terrify me.
And the police will come,
And they'll beat them to death,
And I'll go to sleep easy
Knowing that I'm safe.
Knowing I'm safe from those different than me.
In the land of the free.
One nation, under God.
Under the thumb
Of white supremacy
One nation, under God
Where his people worship our so called leaders.
One nation under God,
Under the thumb of Christianity,
This nation land of the free
freedoms a lie, its not for everyone.
